After analysing the whole study, it has been observed that staff development has a significant impact on the improved competency level of the workforce. The findings of the study suggest that SMART development objectives can effectively alter the competency level of the employee. However, the study reveals that several competency factors such as accountability, analytical thinking and leadership can also impact on the performance of individual and the organisation as a whole. Special focus on training and mentoring has been given an added point for developing the competency of the workforce. Systematic evaluation of the competencies has also been carried by evaluating 360 degree appraisal followed by focusing on KSA factor. However, applying Pyramid competency model and Kurt Lewin’s three stage model can also improve the competency of the workforce.
