One of the areas where I have seen issues in the past includes the area of whether or not subordinates accept someone as a leader or not. I have found that sharing supervisor responsibilities with another supervisor made it so that I have had to try and share training styles, even though it could be proven I had a better approach. However, when we share responsibilities within a department, we have to be conscious about some of the ways we interact within the power system. The balance can be upset at times when we shift too much responsibility and too quickly, especially in team dynamics. I feel like task structure and power structure came much simpler in the circumstances at that time, because those were pretty much company policy. From a situational control standpoint, I guess I had to work from a task-motivated standpoint for the training aspect as was having an issue with going back and retraining employees, which I found highly inefficient.
